4821 Vice President, Marketing

Based at the company’s headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, the Vice President, Marketing will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, with dotted line reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.  He/she will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the development, execution and management of the company’s marketing strategies, initiatives and overall brand awareness.

The VP, Marketing will manage 4 direct reports with an overall team of 20 across Canada, inclusive of brand, local marketing, the online presence team and the in-house graphics department.  The mandate for the VP, Marketing is to provide leadership, management and execution of the company’s national and localized marketing strategies, in pursuit of achieving growth and brand awareness objectives.  This will entail leading the development and execution of the marketing strategy, focusing on utilizing all elements of the marketing mix to ensure the company brand is clearly and consistently articulated and integrated directly into customer messaging. 

Critical to success in this role will be the incumbent’s strategic and creative capabilities, coupled with his/her strong business acumen and pragmatic orientation.  Empowering, innovative and consultative, he/she will bring superior capabilities in marketing strategy development, corporate branding and integrated online presence development.  In addition, the VP, Marketing will have exceptional communication, relationship building and influencing skills, with demonstrated success partnering closely with sales and operations. An accomplished leader, he/she will have a strong track record of leading, developing and supporting a high performance national marketing team.
