4818 Chief Customer Officer

Bedford is currently recruiting a Chief Customer Officer on behalf of our client, one of Canada’s largest software companies and a leader in EHS and quality software.  Based in Toronto, the CCO will act as a partner to the CEO and will lead a team of 200 through 5 direct reports including Customer Acquisition (New Logo Sales), Customer Engagement (Services & Support), Customer Value (ARR Gross & Net Retention), Customer Success (Upsell/Cross Sell Sales) and Marketing.  He/she will be responsible for all customer facing operations, processes, objectives and metrics with a primary focus on revenue generation, customer retention, service delivery and customer satisfaction, mandated with driving organic growth to over $100M in recurring revenue and through to being a IPO ready.

The ideal candidate will bring 10-15+ years of senior leadership experience within a high growth, B2B, $100M+ recurring revenue SAAS environment. He/she will be metrics and data-driven, possesses a deep understanding of EHSQ software and the enterprise and mid-market customer base, paired with an enterprise ERP product background.  Ideally, he/she will possess international experience and have successfully scaled an organization to $100M in annual recurring revenue, owning and understanding all functions including Sales, Marketing (Demand Generation and Account Based Marketing), Services and Success. An outward facing leader, the CCO will have the ability to partner cross functionally and interface with Investors/The Board.
