How to Build the Best Leaders

What competencies do leaders need to win big in our disruptive business world?
This critical question sparked a robust discussion amongst a dynamic group of 15 CEOs who recently gathered at the Bedford Consulting Group’s semi-annual CEO Roundtable.
Co-facilitated by myself and John Burdett, an internationally acclaimed expert on organizational culture, the CEOs broke into four teams and engaged insightfully about the tangibles of leadership success.
The group used a rich methodology developed by Burdett, which Bedford Group leverages in every executive search. This process was pioneered by the firm in 2003 and is now the global standard across 60 offices within Tran Search (the global firm that Bedford is part of) That means 2,000 searches annually around the world have gained success with this methodology.
The collective insights of the CEO Roundtable participants are being developed into a sophisticated leadership profile for tomorrow’s leaders. The participating CEOs and 200 CEO Roundtable alumni will use this model to build high performance capabilities amongst their leaders, ultimately to drive sustainable business results.
